Run

Wade dragged Peter behind him, running through the streets, dodging cars.  A giggle bubbled inside of his chest, going faster feeling the night air moving over his skin.  Peter panted, trying to keep up with the madman.  Wade released his hand, his hands pumping as he ran faster, jumping to try and touch stop signs in the medians.  Peter laughed breathlessly, trying to ask him where they were going but the air wouldn't let him. Wade stopped abruptly, almost making the other man run into him. "There." He pointed over the city. "That's what I wanted to show you." The mist was dancing along the lights, the occasional car moving through the sea.   Peter had seen it a million times, but something about the way the air was moving around them and the way Wade was so much warmer than the breeze made it magical.
