Throwback Thursday to the first iteration of the Gideon cosplay stuff, and the first time I wore proper cosplay in public. Well, intentionally, at least.
I did not have a lot of time for some of the last details, as I was on a long trip until the week before the event, but thanks to my wardrobe and various boxes doing their thing, and the fantastic help from a partner, I managed to get enough stuff done in time (see, for example, the knuckle knives, which were made in scant hours but looked fantastic). AND I damn well remembered to get a shot with the glasses down!

Fun anecdote: I did that makeup by a pro cosplayer's recipe for body paint. That's two layers of makeup, Kryolan setting spray, powder, foundation etc, and it almost held out enough to make me say "fuckit I'll get the rest tomorrow" and sacrifice a pillowcase.
...I have to say I need to fan myself a little because that stare and that smirk, why yes I do fancy Gideon Nav quite a bit.
