Whumpmas In July - Day 23
Day 23: What are your top 3 injuries/ailments you desire in your whump?
Ooh, so hard to choose, there’s so many good ones out there. (In no particular order)
1: We’ll start with malnutrition, like, whumpee has been held captive and abused for weeks and there’s that heartbreaking moment when their friends find them and see the state they’re in. Provides lots of opportunities for hurt/comfort and care with the caretaker(s) making sure whumpee is fed properly and feels safe.
2: Broken ribs or abdominal injuries. Something about a vulnerable whumpee curling around their injuries and having to be carried carefully—no getting thrown over the shoulder for that one. Coughing or vomiting is so much more painful—they deserve gentle care and the softest of hugs.
3: Bullet wounds—the whump keeps coming. Not only do you have the initial impact, but bullet removal as well. Bonus points for caretaker having to perform field surgery on whumpee for extra angst.
Gonna throw in an honorable mention for wing whump because if a character has wings they are getting whumped, non-negotiable.
