Im showing these guys right now, but trust me when I get the chance I'll share more about them. For now, just know they're part of WildClan, a group of cats with powers who escaped from a laboratory.

Dovelake/star

Born half Heronclan, half Wildclan, Dovekit chose to leave her mother and sister in Heronclan and live with her father in Wildclan as soon as she was weened. She never liked Heronclan, as their "pick yourself up" attitude was hard for her with her malformed hind leg and tail. She'd been born with them both twisted, and no one knew why. They didn't take her seriously, though, and she was left living in pain for her first month and a half of living. When she moved to Wildclan, she was given a small daily amount of poppy seeds, which helped her pain immensely.

Through her apprenticeship, she and her sister often met at the gathering hollow with a tom, Kelppaw from Dangerclan. They trained together, and the sisters both began crushing on Kelppaw. She let Smokepaw, her sister, take him as a mate when they all became warriors, convinced she would find someone she loved more soon. Moons passed, and Dovelake remained alone, while Smokebriar had kits with him and lived her life to the fullest. Dovelake started getting desperate, so she settled with a tom who she never even liked in that way, but who liked her. She had a single litter of three kits with him, but noticed Kelptuft was starting to act strange around her clan. By the time her kits were adults, she was deputy. And by the time she was leader, her clanmates had begun to disappear.

When she realized it was her brother-in-law who was killing her clanmates, she quickly confronted him, but it was too late. He was too deep, and he couldn't stop. He took her life once, and then went on to kill her kits and mate the next day. Enraged, she confronted him one last time, and he made sure to take every last one of her lives. The last of Wildclan's cats either dispersed or died by his claws, and the other three clans were so horrified that they exiled Kelptuft and preserved the old Wildclan territory in the memory of the clan that had been lost.

Palestar and their successor, Crowstar, of Wildclan. Palestar is extremely animated, and energetic, then Crowstar is known for how monotone and stoic she is Been not liking my art lately and trying to figure it out. So I'm just letting myself sketch and not worry about cleaning things up too much. I wanna have fun. This is a hobby for me. also been looking at artists I like and trying to figure out what it is I like and how I can incorporate it. One thing is fun expressions. I need to push that, I've known that but. I think it's really been getting at me so yeh then I chose Crowstar who just. Nothin. Lol but I do like how Palestar turned out

Introducing: Extra Roles!!

Every Clan has a special helper role! It’s a cog in the machine, a special place in the hearts of your Clanmates, and a new place in the heart of the valley! But each role has a price- it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it.

The heart of MeadowClan is its strong connection to StarClan, and its soul is the Prayer. Prayers are the strange mix of Medics and regular warriors- they lack a strong bond to medicine, but StarClan is just as likely to speak through them as a normal Medic. They are not oracles- they know the same as any Medic, and are allowed to stand in on important meetings between Medics and others, but continue to work as a warrior in their day-to-day. Like Medics, Prayers cannot take a mate, but they are allowed to have kits. It’s like having a half-a-paw boost on the steps of Clan rank.

BurrowClan is strong and built on found family. There are Hunters, who bring the family food, and Diggers, who make bigger and better homes for them. And then there are Soldiers. Soldiers are cats of strong will and heart who will, in times of great need, become “activated” and take on both Digging and Hunting work. Soldiers will also patrol the border solo, and there are whispers of them being solo infiltrators to spy on other camps. A notable Soldier is Brown, though she is now Inactive. When Soldiers are Inactive, they return to their original role. Soldiers are not allowed to discuss their Active work with others.

TreeClan is traditional and proud. Their Scouts are no secret. Spindly cats will go far from TreeClan territory in order to find better trees and land for them to hunt in, darting from tree to tree in their efforts to avoid overhunting. Scouts are independent and strong, and for great reason- Scouts, who learn to live and hunt on the ground in order to travel barren lands, are not allowed to nest in TreeClan’s camp. They may come and go, or sleep nearby, but they aren’t able to return home.

Fierce and adaptive, WildClan needs to keep a close eye on the herds that graze their land, and for that there are Shepherds. Shepherds are the protectors of the deer, keeping them safe from harm and bringing the sick grass to eat. The work is hard and laborious, which is why each Shepherd is only given one herd to track. They spend three seasons out of the year living with the deer, only to leave in Leaf-Bare. It is strictly against the law of WildClan for Shepherds to hunt or eat the animals they care for, meaning they suffer harshest during the cold times.

Alongside Clan specific titles, each Clan has room for Kings and Royalty. Kings are the caregivers of their Clan- the ones who take the most care of their camp and cats- and Royalty (or Queens, if you prefer the gendered term) are those who decide to stay permanently in the Nursery and help care for the kits exclusively.

Changes/Additional Ideas

there should be more than 1 healer. ive thought about this before why didn’t i implement it >:/

all members of a clan receive basic medical training+herb education+basic hunting+fighting lessons, so they can survive + fend for themselves should the need arise

visitors passing through or seeking out a specific clan are invited to stay in camp if they wish, and are shown a temporary den somewhere in the territory if they do not

some cats prefer to focus exclusively on their specific job, though they are included with everyone else under the term ‘warrior’

its not unusual for apprentices to share mentors or be passed between a number of cats. in fact, it’s encouraged, as it’s believed learning from multiple perspectives makes one better as a whole; even if one is in a specialized position, it’s better in the long run to have knowledge of multiple things than just one (very jack-of-all-trades)

it’s been implied/shown but i dunno if i’ve outright said it before but cats can and have moved clans if they wished. multiple families are spread throughout at least 2 clans

a group of kittens is called a kindle in earthclan+wildclan. in streamclan theyre called a shoal, and a group of apprentices a school. in orchardclan they use bushel

inter-clan friendships are accepted and even encouraged

raising kittens is a community effort, and extends through apprenticeship
