💖🥰🙅, to get you closer to having every prompt from the list asked ;)
💖 a fic you read you recently loved and why!
I haven't read much fic in the last few weeks, aside from skimming to properly tag my bookmarks, but the most recent thing in my history that I wanted to bang pots and pans about was bad thing twice by @wildehacked. You know how sometimes you're like "he would never do that," and then, "what would it take for him to do that?" WELL. This is in fact how Eddie 9-1-1 spent like a decade on Grindr while being extremely repressed about it, and we love that for him.
🥰 what tropes do you gravitate toward?
I don't know if it's a trope, but initial rejection? 100/10. Confessing feelings and everything going great is nice and all, but consider: confessing feelings, it goes terribly (even if at the time everyone thinks it went fine) and then they all suffer for another 30-70% of the fic.
🙅 whats an instant nope for you?
Lack of paragraph spacing. Content-wise, an initial set-up info-dump, especially if it's something we already know because this is a fanfiction. But explaining everyone's role in an AU right off the bat to the reader also irritates me.
