I know! I see both so vividly.
I just imagine Len being smart and outspoken in class all the time and always getting kicked out. The teachers just dismissing him as being a trouble maker. Everyone is a little scared of him... (Barry is too but he kinda likes it?) Lisa and Cisco chooses Barry because Len is such a grumpy tight ass and maybe a little bit of sunshine and optimism is exactly what Len needs. Plus Barry is probably the only guy that could keep Len interested. The way he goes on his tangents and “nerd babbles”
But then the whole mysterious bad boy thing just really easy to do. So easy. But I don’t think Barry would ever be “Kat Level” outspoken. Probably more “he’s such a nerd and his dad killed his mum” sorta un-datable level. Maybe Len needs the extra money for him and his sister and why not? It’s not like Barry is completely unappealing. Kid’s just a bit of a spaz. I kinda want both, the only issue is who the other characters would be! I dunno, keep it Flash or delve into Arrow characters..
OK so I think I actually really want this now! This AU is just good fun vibes! So much better than my usual doom and gloom ha ha ha!
