Addressing some criticisms I’ve seen
“it felt forced” Will was basically being blackmailed, his options were this, or let Vecna tell everyone for him
“it was too impersonal” If even a single person involved with their plan was still unaware, it would be a liability, because, as we’ve established, Will’s sexuality is being used as blackmail
“it was too corny” Most of the show is, were you not paying attention to the dick jokes?
“why didn’t mike react” He absolutely did, you just need to pay closer attention
“the show is saying that mike is will’s tammy” No that’s all on Will, and you shouldn’t trust him, he’s an extremely unreliable narrator #will liars
“i hate that they’re using will’s sexuality as a plot device” I fear that it’s always been a plot device, both with how he gained his powers in vol. 1, and with the painting arc in S4. Even as far back as S1, most people in the show who don’t know about the UD assume that his kidnapping was a hate crime

mike wouldn't get a chance to go shopping for an anniversary gift so, on their first anniversary, he'd pick out something (idk what exactly?? just a small trinket of some kind) in his room that will has been wanting for a while and he gives it to him and he's like "awww now we can match" but he actually gave him the original. nancy ends up buying mike another one for him for the following christmas because she noticed it was missing.
im still thinking about mike hugging will and joyce telling him to calm down so he just completely shut down. idk who thought of that but im still there. im still at the restaurant.
