It does sound like Mike not knowing that Will is gay (as it’s still s2 timing, even tho it’s Vecna’s mindscape after Will’s coming out), and Will says, you can be whatever you are with me, and I will surprise you. Not knowing imo is being stressed through the shot below too: for some reason they chose to throw this girl on Will, even tho it wasn’t discussed in the show or anything. Feels like a hint of the way Mike sees Will during that timeline:

the milkvan scene pops up only once at the words “…pumpin’ on my floor, she said…”, and even if anything subtextual is implied between them, the whole party (and Nikki, Mike’s queerness) are rushing to the cabin to stop Mike from… speaking to Hopper, right. And Hopper also is going there.
And the song stops playing right before they enter the cabin. So this was not a milkvan song for example, it stopped right with Hopper opening the door. Btw, the party succeeded and stopped Mike:) Bc the song asked for “more” of something that was not yet happening, so the path is clear… It’s like “the threat was eliminated”, and milkvan are all in red, so CODE RED, we should prevent it, and whole Hawkins was rushing there, istg
