I thought, I’m delirious for expecting El to come out of that red gate for a second, and my heart sank bc it was synced with Mike’s looking there. I thought I made it up! I asked myself “why did I even think that?” and gaslit myself that it was me.
But I rewatched it, I realised that we were baited intentionally. Both: bylers and milkvans. Milkvans had it worse, ig, bc at least I exhaled realising that it was not a scene of m11 reunion. And milkvans probably got upset. But regardless, as a byler, I still was sitting on the edge of my seat watching it.
Seeing this scene now again, I still don’t fully get why they did that, it’s such a blatant evidence of the fact that they do fuel the ship war, even in such a senseless manner like we see here.
There was literally no reason to mix these two plot lines. Not a single reason aside from poking the fans with hope (m11s) and rage (bylers and m11s). (they did the thing like this in 5x06, with unidentified hands)
It could be just El\Henry parallel, but why is there a shot with Mike, why not Joyce or whoever else?
