I remember seeing this post somewhere ages ago (i think it was a tumblr post on Pinterest) that said middle aged Will would love those silly goofy wizard memes and I think about that everyday

Mike insists Will is a Sorcerer

Will rejects it and says that he’s just stealing from Vecna

Just like how…

Will is in love with Mike

He tries to reject it because he thinks he’s stealing from El, just how he rejects being the Sorcerer

BUT MIKE IS THE ONE WHO CALLED HIM THE SORCERER🗣️🗣️

That’s why the track that plays during Will’s powers reveal was called “Will The Wizard” and not “Will The Sorcerer”

So my theory:

Vecna is going to get into Mike’s head when Mike tries to rescue Will from something. Will will see this through Vecna’s eyes. He will finally understand and accept that Mike loves him back AND THEN HE WILL BECOME THE SORCERER AND THATS WHEN THE TRACK “Will The Sorcerer” WILL PLAY🗣️🗣️🗣️
