I do appreciate how quickly and radically Doctor Who established that the future is coming, and the future is gay.

In Jack's first episode he flirts with a guy and Rose gives the doctor a look, doc replies "what? He's a 51st century guy!".

The future is gay, not just gay but so accepting of queerness that it's odd to even question it.

It's odd to even question weither queerness will be gradually accepted until it's considered normalcy. Of course it will be.

WHEN was someone gonna tell me that the little pixie boy in the acorn hat in tree fu Tom was voiced by DAVID TENNANT?! I feel like every few months I’m enlightened that a new character I didn’t realise was him was played by him and I don’t know how long this can go on for. How many of him are out there.

I feel like torchwood is one of those shows where nothing about it is criticisable (is that a word?) because everything arguably bad about it is just so peak. 3/4 of every episode is Jack absolutely mogging the shit out of everyone around him. The rest of it is questionable at best plot but it’s so good you can’t even argue. It’s like Doctor who on steroids and everyone is bisexual. And it’s got the best music of any show ever, they genuinely cooked so hard with that.

I'm always amazed that the Torchwood One crew let Jack plan anything given his plan to find the Doctor after being made immortal consisted of skulking around Cardiff until he showed up to refuel and then bodily launching himself at the TARDIS. Ianto should have been in charge.

It’s clear that the way they decided who should be in charge was having them all stand on top of that building and seeing who was the best at not falling off and who aura farmed the hardest. If there is one thing Jack Harkness is good at its looking GREAT while standing dangerously on very high buildings

Somehow doctor who and torchwood, two shows with a collective budget of 40p and a bag of peanuts, both manage to be the 2 peakest shows I’ve ever watched? Incredible.
