That sexual tension between me and the other person waiting at the red light when there are no cars in sight
Every so often I still think about the reactions to Liam confirming Caleb’s feelings for Jester vs confirming them for Essek.
After the Jester confirmation, no one had any problem accepting it as canon, whether they liked it or not. People who liked it were happy their theories were correct, people who hated it complained that it recontextualized their previous interactions (while also pointedly ignoring the part where he said Caleb hadn’t and wouldn’t act on those feelings.)
But with Essek, it was ‘has to be said in-game or it isn’t canon,’ and I’m just??? Y’all will condemn Liam for giving you bad mlm rep, but simultaneously downplay and undermine every instance of expressing about that aspect of his character (see also people acting like Vax’ildan was pretending to be gay for a discount after he fell in love with Keyleth).
And that’s not the only thing. People will project their issues onto Liam’s characters and then get angry at him for rping his characters reacting to something in a way they wouldn’t. Or with this finale, people ignored the entirety of Caleb’s epilogue except for the basic acknowledgment that Essek’s an elf, and proceeded to get angry at him for making Caleb’s ending all tragic. Again, projecting bullshit onto him and blaming him for it.
Like, toxic positivity is a bad thing yes, but obsessing over something that clearly angers you to the point of willfully misinterpreting it just to make you angrier is genuinely unhealthy.

Okay, a few questions: 1) Why would installing radio jammers reveal where the drones were coming from? 2) If someone is caught smuggling in the special Scottish island prison, where do we sent them then? The moon? The Phantom Zone?
