Okay so I haven't seen anyone write about this yet, but this thought hasn't left my mind since finishing chapter 4, so here's a theory I have about what will happen in chapter 5:
The whole scene with the Berdly phone call at the Holiday house in chapter 4 is foreshadowing Noelle's character development, and it will lead to her standing up to Carol and getting in trouble for it at the festival.
We got to see some interesting character development in chapters 3 and 4 from Susie and Ralsei, with Susie becoming more vulnerable and compassionate, whereas Ralsei begins to understand that he might have thoughts and needs that don't always align with the player's Kris's.
In the scene where Noelle (reluctantly) agrees to attend the festival with Berdly, Susie lets Noelle know that "Some people aren't gonna get it 'til you scream "NO"." (cut to Carol telling Noelle to go to the kitchen and kicking Susie out of the house while Noelle doesn't put up a fight about it)
In chapter 5, Noelle will either have to go to the festival with Carol, or she'll get grounded and told she can't go. She'll somehow sneak off to spend time with Susie and eventually get caught, and when Carol tells her to stop spending time with Susie, Noelle will say no. She might not scream it at first (considering how afraid she is of conflict), but regardless of how loudly she says it, it will probably piss Carol off enough that Noelle ends up paying the price for it.
