I watched the Percy Jackson and I loved it enough that I started the books, and okay listen I absolutely love the cast and everyone matches their character so well, but was it so hard to actually go by the book's description 😭?

Like istg I love them all, Walker, Charlie, Leah and all of them, but Percy 'black hair green eyes' Jackson, Annabeth 'blond hair grey eyes' Chase, and Luke 'blond hair blue eyes' Castellan, they're all over the place in the show, I love when adaptations make differences but this much difference 😭😭?

I swear I love the book and the show but the books are so loved and have been out for a WHILE and obviously people are pressed and unhappy by the casting, because they definitely had other options but chose them, I know they made a great show but I genuinely find it so funny that almost none of the book descriptions are accurate in the show 😭.

Even Grover's supposed to have some sort of facial hair and he doesn't in the show, it's like Disney/show makers woke up and chose violence.

Wouldn't be so funny if in the finale of Stranger Things it turns out to be an over the top d&d script/story made by one of the main 4, and maybe they're either faced with concern or criticism or just flat out laughter and asking if they're okay and if they got enough sleep the last day and they just say that they kinda saw it in a dream then the lights actually flutter but they all say they gotta go home because it's dark and we're left on a cliffhanger because whoever was doing the story never got to because of the group's reaction
