The synth’s brows furrowed at Ash asking why she was there. Now didn’t seem to be the appropriate time for that, especially with them being injured and--as they had so eloquently put it--the ‘place was crawling with raiders’. Curie studied the wounds she was able to see from where she was crouched in front of them before her gaze met theirs.
“Research.” She responded, she could elaborate on her intentions later, for now she had to help them. She had grown to view them positively, and she would do anything to make sure they fared as well as they possibly could.
“This isn’t a safe location.” She stated, though it was obvious to both of them, especially the one that lay bleeding in front of her. There were a couple options, neither of them were very good to the synth. Helping Ash to a safer location would allow her more time and better resources to tend to them, but at the cost of likely exacerbating the wounds. Staying there allowed only the resources she had on hand--unless they had something useful as well--but raiders could find them at any moment.
“Are you able to walk at all?”
@wingedwanderer
Wow, that was one huge peregrine falcon! Bastion felt like the luckiest nature-lover on the planet. It was a good thing that they had decided to do a little bird watching before making their trek through the forest. Wait....does that falcon look a bit....humanoid? It seemed that further inspection was required.
"Hey, has anyone seen DiMA? ...And where'd this tiel come from?"
Faraday walks up to Ash, shaking his head in exasperation. “This IS DiMA. Someone came by here earlier and changed him into.. that thing. Watched it happen and no before you ask, I’m not clinically insane. Apparently it’s going to last for two days. I’ve tried to tell the rest of Acadia but some are just laughing in my face and some of them are half panicking. Look at him, he’s clumsy, he’s got silver headfeather.. things, and he’s not stopped eating until you walked in. You know it’s him right? You believe me?” He seemed more than a little desperate.The cockatiel puffed up it’s feathers and spread it’s crest at the same time, then flicked open a wing as if saying ‘hi’. There could be no doubt that this was DiMA, in bird form. He seemed pleased to meet them.
How do you feel about Deathclaws?
From my experiences with them, Deathclaws are more intelligent than most people give them credit to be. They are capable of affection and strong protective instincts. With a little work, some kindness, and luck. it’s possible to tame them though i think it might take a while before they can be considered domesticated.
They are very dangerous, there is no doubt about that. *eyes become sparkly* But i’d like to ride one some day, and give them pets and hug them and… *clears throat before continuing*
I have heard tales of intelligent Deathclaws, as in, ones capable of speech among other things. I’ve never met one myself but i’ll be sure to keep an eye out for them.
“Nice.....costume?” What the hell was going on in the Commonwealth for someone to be dressed like a bird? Though it seemed eerily realistic.

“Oh, oh, I’ve read about this in those pre-war books! You’re an angel, aren’t you?”
