Winter Smells.

It smells Christmasy in the house. The tree almost done. The obligatory string of lights aren't working. Working on getting that fixed tonight. Or the weekend. 

I thought it was funny this morning how I heard it was going to be a boiling 10 degrees today and I broke out the golf tee, ripped jeans and fedora. I was just talking about the Winter of 2011. That winter where it was an average temperature of 5. All. Winter.Long. It was amazing. I don't think we'll have another one of those, though. We'll see how Global Warming goes, and I'll get back to you. 

It's time to get a move on. Shower. Get lunch. Fill up the Thermos. Walk to the bus.

The daily grind...while taking in the winter smells.
