Another Saturday. Argenti is early to the rink, slight limp in his normally smooth gait, and one hand wrapped around his coffee mug like a lifeline. He'd overdone it the day before—trying, failing to land an axel. What had been part of his warmups was now the peak of his training, and it leaves a bitter twist in his belly as he lets himself in. The overheads are bright when he enters, reflexting off fresh ice. It has Argenti squinting, muscle memory leading him to his usual rink of the three. He tucks his bag against the bench, lifts his foot up onto the boards, and stretches, wills his ankle to stop its insistent ache.

🍓 - honestly i was just smacked over the head with an idea one day and i wrote it. It was very much a "what if x happened" idea and opened my brain to the wonderful world of aus and fix-its that i now adore so

🥐 - oh i ALWAYS cackle at the squash banana vine, and without fail giggle at the "an avocado. Thanks" line that all of my friends use when handed p much anynow.

🥤 - oooooh this is hard to limit myself to just a few. Cynoluvr69, anubisco, jynsun, femyphai, all amazing authors!!!!
