Rant time-

So I’m in Colorgaurd which is fun. What isn’t fun however, is the 12 out of 15 people on my team that talk behind my back constantly. This isn’t just some though. I’ve seen screen shots of them talking bad and berating me... and hooooh it puts a dent in my skull even thinking about it.

Hell- I think one of the reasons they don’t like me is because “I fake my disability” because ever since I’ve been on medication for my Tourettes I haven’t ticced as mush and I guess they though that I was just acting for attention or whatever??

I have no idea... but yea. Probably gonna drop it. This has gone on for two year and even when I talked to the coach he did nothing because “I mean, it’s not technically bullying” so yay...

I hate high school

Thank god I only have 13 more weeks till I graduate

I love wintergaurd because I just watched a girl use electrical tape/flag tape on her eyes as a guide for eyeliner. FANTASTIC fucking vibes coming from her rn. The gaurd equivalent of the knife as an eyeliner guide.

Winterguard and Indoor Drumline

I'm not going to pretend like i know a lot about either of these activities because i don't. But what I do know is that the amount of support in this community for each other is crazy high. I've been to a number of shows and no matter if the stands are filled with parents or opponents, whether the performer just killed a wicked toss (or whatever you call it) or they totally dropped their equipment, there is always thunderous applause. Everybody always seems to get along and be friends behind the scenes no matter if they just met or have been seeing each other at competitions for years. As a marcher I know that shows take dedication so I understand that what these young people do take a lot of time and energy to get out there Saturday after Saturday. Here's to you wintergaurd and indoor drumline performers. Cheers 🍻

Today in gaurd, i learned not to have long nails

Especially while spinning rifle.. I broke 5 nails...

Its hard being genderfluid and being in wintergaurd cause im trying to decide if i should wear the makeup and the girl uniform or no makeup and the guy uniform. (This of course is mainly if we have two different uniforms cause some shows they do, some dont)
