We had seen amazing photos of the Salk Institute, and it's impressive architecture, online and since it was on our way back from San Diego we made a pit stop. Unfortunately, it was closed to the public that day. Instead, we wandered the perimeter and found this little waterfall in the back... we started snapping photos and within 5 minutes a (very nice) security guard approached and informed us that "photoshoots" were not allowed (regular photos with your phone are no problem) She also said not to feel bad, it happens all the time thanks to Google 😄 Have you been kicked out of a photo spot? . . .
