1 mile run 10:12 ✅
17 minute NTC strength ✅
Unfortunately these are the first two workouts I’ve done this week though...🙃
#RWRunStreak Day 36 One treadmill mile at 8:30pm because it's been a long, cold, rainy day. https://www.instagram.com/p/Br6jGXthnRu-DsCfgzYtonehfcDsbOheLYmJlc0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1cg1hcf8q11sg
Happy Thanksgiving weekend!
Here's what I've been doing since the beginning of the holidays:
1. Started the Runners World run streak which I will run at least one mile every day from Thanksgiving Day until New Years Day. #RWrunstreak! Woo!
2. My streak began with my town's annual Turkey Trot which was one of the coldest and most rewarding races. It felt like 5 degrees and my legs were numb but I finished with a pretty decent time! There's a ton of competitive runners in my area, which definitely inspired me to sit down and set goals for myself for 2019.
3. Eating lots of yummy food and am planning to meal prep more regularly during the weekdays.
4. Using this rainy weekend to finally create a strength training plan for myself. This will prevent me from overworking specific muscle groups, and will (hopefully) result in less nagging injuries during training seasons.
5. Finally, I'm going to make a list of 19 things to accomplish before 2019. This obviously won't include huge goals, but it'll keep me motivated and organized as the last month of 2018 is approaching.
For now I'm watching football with less Sunday scaries than normal because ITS DA HOLIDAYS
Run streak day 1!! So chilly. So many crunchy leaves. I am a happy girl.
Nothing like a big bowl of quinoa and dal on a rainy night. Made grading quizzes until 7pm way more bearable. And hit day 100 of my runstreak this morning!
