i use waterproof mascara, which usually doesn’t flake off no matter what the brand. the downside of that is that it’s a real bear to get off at night, though.

I use Stila’s stay all day for cosplaying. Def go for waterproof; it’s a bitch to remove but it’ll stay without smudging much better.

I agree with nyx as the general brand it was my standby for years. Makeup forever also, but here’s another person with dark eyelashes who also never wears the stuff now.

i’m going Nyx since that’s actually who I use for concealor/foundation and about half my lip stuff too. i’ve had really good luck with them but I hadn’t tried their mascara yet. I picked up their matte setting spray too (i used ELF when I did retail and still have it (it’s v nice), but theirs is more dewy and dnw when in hot cosplay all day)

we will see how it goes. I’m doing makeup tests today and tomorrow. WE’LL SEE WHAT LASTS THE DAY.

also cackling bc my lashes are lighter than my fucking eyebrows anyone with dark lashes is lucky pls appreciate that 4 me
