Representing Africa at #WISE17 has been a great pleasure and an honour indeed to talk about the amazing things that we are doing at the Ambassadors of Africa (@aoafricaorg) through #ProjectAStudents. Learning about the various innovative ideas that people, organizations and governments all over the world are employing towards improving the quality of education globally, I am inspired that if we begin to tap into our unique abilities to 'create' and work together as agents of positive change, we will transform our educational systems and indeed build a better world. This, therefore, is a call to all of us, changemakers across this continent, to spark up our sense of responsibility and begin to do our best towards changing the status quo. Even though literacy level in the world has reached 90%, millions of school aged children in sub-Saharan Africa are still out of school and this is undoubtedly one of the reasons why the problems we face today are prevalent. We must do something, and we must do it NOW! If we seek a better future, if we truly have the interest of our nations at heart, if we care enough for the generations coming after us, then we must join hands to make this change happen. This is the time when we must innovate and take significant actions towards making Africa great. This is my mandate; my quest. #Education #Innovation #Collaboration #GlobalGoals #SDGs #SDG4 #Africa #Create #Development #TeamAOA #Educator #Student #QNCC #Doha #Qatar @wiseqatar @aqdarws @gesforum (at Doha)
