You wanted comfort and modern AUs, so I’ve decided to bring you both :D hope you don’t mind I chose these two, I really wanted to draw your first prompt, but I haven’t drawn then before and I was a little anxious I won’t get them right. Hope you’ll like it <3

"You say that like you can foretell the future." Camping was never something high on Arev's list of things-to-do. Sure as a kid she'd done it, back in her Cub Scout days, but since then it had never seemed very appealing. Yet she'd allowed herself to be persuaded into a few-night stay in gods-knows-where with those ridiculous puppy-dog eyes the mangey cat bore, and the promise that if she hated it as much as she said she would, that it would never come up again. And then it had rained. The dirt roads they'd traveled four days prior were now swampy with mud, and wholly untrustworthy to Arev. However, Aiden at least said the right things when it came to reassuring her that they'd be just fine. "Four-wheel drive only applies so long as there are four wheels to tread on--if we end up having to hike out of here I swear to my very last breath I'm never letting myself be persuaded into another one of these half-baked plans again."

I love how Ernessa is so like, dark and yet she knows what the hell she's about. I love seeing the way she takes control of the situation and it makes seeing how you position her and what she does and says and *how* she says it dso damn inreguing!

x. Okay when I say I am crying about this please know that I am indeed crying real life big boy jumbo sized tears. I always fear that people will fear her or they shy away from her because so much of her is shrouded in violence and blood but look its fun, and its delicious, and its melt in your mouth sea salted chocolate. I am so happy to have met both you and Sarge because so much fun and storytelling, and I do feel so excited to share Ernessa with you guys. For Aiden to discover more of her crazy and understand why she is the way she is.

How do they let their loved ones know they are dating?

10. How do they let their loved ones know they are dating? For Dessi, she probably look like she wants to say something to them but kinda awkwardly not say anything till they question her a bit. With her social circle so damn small, it probably wouldn’t need to be said as her loved ones would know(E.x. Anya and Jek..)

Dettlaff would let Regis know that “We need to talk”, through either written message or raven without revealing the subject of the “talk”(Which leads Regis to worry quite a bit initially.) When Dettlaff told Regis about the relationship he has with Dessi Regis was a bit, internally, skeptical and even alarmed. After all, he never new Syanna when she was Rhena and Dettlaff kept that part of his life secret. The memories of what had happened were fresh and the thought of something happening to Dettlaff again sat very much ill within the barber-surgeon. The conversation turned to another surprise for Regis when Dettlaff informed him that Dessi wished to meet him. Though Regis remained a bit on guard, there was hope that what Dettlaff and Dessi have is true.

☢ What fads/trends are you so over?

SELF INSERTS. Holy shit. There are times I can get it, I get that in some senses it can be therapeutic to roleplay scenarios, but for the love of every god and devil, Please Make Sure Your RP Partner Knows. ALSO, and Sarge (@stillwater-butcher) has already had to listen to me rant about this, there are times where a self insert isn't therapeutic and is instead a form of self harm and once I realized, it's hard to unsee it. Giving a character what someone feels is their insecurities or their shortcomings, or giving them the really difficult scenarios or biases that were put against them to then play out is just plain old very terrible for their mental health. Not to mention it can then make partners INCREDIBLY uncomfortable, on top of having to try and not further traumatize the mun in question, or try to satiate the mun's needs with their replies.

✂ A fandom that you feel isn’t open and accepting?

Since I haven't really experienced fandoms, since I've always written and mostly played against OC's, canon divergent canons, or people who beefed up minor characters into mains of their own, I haven't had a lot of experience with fandoms as a whole. What I can vouch for though is the OC community isn't much better, from all the horror stories I've heard of the fandom community, with the added bonus of people hardcore self-inserting. At the end of the day, I'm okay keeping hardcore fandoms at an arms length lmao.

❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?

I wouldn't say that anyone has ruined a character or FC for me specifically, but I've definitely lost interest in certain overused FC's or found myself steering clear of interacting with certain characters when a fandom explodes with main character canon muses (did that even make sense? Lmao). I can't even tell you how long it took me to finally watch The Witcher, and I still find myself steering clear of the abundance of Geralt muses on here. Not everyone has main character capabilities (oops).
