CHOCOLATE LAVENDER BUNDT CAKE BABEEEEYYYYY
I did end up baking for Beltane today. Lemon rosemary cookies to represent the sun and summer returning! @chromehoplite
Made this recipe (link below) for solstice cookies and I love how they turned out! I got to put my lavender buds, sage, pineapple sage and thyme to good use, and best of all I met up with a fellow witch here in East Ky to celebrate Midsummer! There have to be more of us in Pike County, and I’d love to find and meet up with more by this time next year. If you’re in my neck of the woods, let’s meet (merry meet!) and try to establish the kind of community I occasionally met up with in Cabell County, WV. The pagan community in south-central WV is thriving, and I know we could make something happen here too. Recipe: https://gathervictoria.com/2016/06/10/sweet-magic-summer-solstice-honey-cookies/
🍂🍎Made the Mabon Raw Apple Cake 🍏🍂 ✨It was delicious! Not too sweet with good apple flavor✨ Let me know if you try the recipe on my previous post!
A beautiful excerpt on Late Litha from my Witches' datebook about summer harvest and bread. Looks like its time to get the cook book out. Æfterra Līþa
Apple bread!
Apples, among other red-colored foods (including cinnamon), are associated with the Celtic goddess Morrigan, with whom I do quite a bit of my work. After this picture was taken, I placed a bit of one slice of this bread as an offering for her on my altar.
