Hi! So firstly I want to be a little direct (I hope I'm not being rude 😓) and ask if you're religious and if you practice witchcraft? When I started reading jodt I was pleasantly surprised to see the real life wicca holidays and traditional way of decorating for Yule. You even put in the candle language!!! 🕯️🕯️ (Even if a bit sneaky) It made me, a modern witch, feel seen in a work of fan made, free, easy consuming content. So I wanted to ask if it was a classic writer-researched-a-bit-too-much or you practiced it yourself. Sorry if the question made you uncomfortable .

Would I say I'm a witch? ....Sort of? I'd call myself a novice to the craft at best. I'm not explicitly religious, I don’t have an altar or worship any deities.

I dabble! I'm fascinated by witchcraft and wicca, and my family's always been quite witchy at heart.

I've done a couple of spells here and there, nothing huge. Like I said, I dabble... and RESEARCH THE HECK OUT IT🔮✨️

And Joanne really fucked up by having her magic world celebrate Christmas and Easter etc... I get that the Muggle world has blended alot with it when HP takes place -- and it is all from Harry’s pov -- but why would pureblooded witches and wizards celebrate Muggle Christian holidays? Especially families like the Malfoys.

As a witchy person, it just made no sense to me. The eight sabbats predate the christian holidays... Good thing the canon story is all from Harry’s perspective, huh? I saw my opportunity and I took it! 🤣

Herro everybeans! Just wanted to say thanks for stopping by and tell you a little bit about me since I'm new here! My names Stray but Batty works too! Heehee~. I love to color and draw though I'm not very good at it.. I love all kinds of animals but Bats and Otters and Dogs are my favorites! I have a 5 yrs old, *super* pretty Amstaff and she's my best friend!! Um, um, I really like the colors Teal, Orange, Purple, and Neon Green! I'm super shy but I do love making new friends, though I'm not very good at that either... I gets so nervous and it feels like my hearts gonna esplode.. but I really do try! Oh! I'm also nonbinary and use Xe/Xem/Xyr or They/Them pronouns! I do prefer the Xe/Xem/Xyr set but I don't really expect peoples to remember so that's why i use They/Them as well. I... today is the Big Day ahhhhhh

i dressed up all cute in one of my pink dresses & i'm wearing a bunch of the jewelry i've made and i've got my witch hat waiting for me in the car. the moms is coming to help me set up & all my coworkers are gonna come see my booth.

also,, found out that there is a slight competition element where attendees are voting on best booth & the winner is getting a cash reward so now there's actual Stakes involved and i'm contemplating what methods of bribery i can employ

my vision is extra blurry today so i'm not gonna bother with all the fiddly finishing bits but here's what i came up with for the pink version

this one is either gonna be called "strawberry milk galaxy" or "bubblegum disco galaxy" i can't decide

so work brain shut down like two hours ago and i decided to start working on a little inventory to keep track of everything i'm making/bringing to the event on thurs

and anyway, this matters to no one but me but i decided to categorize everything them by collection, and of course i have my little galaxy tea collection (the phone charms i posted a while ago) where each colorway is named after a kind of drink, like "strawberry milk tea galaxy" or "melon cream soda galaxy" or "blue ramune galaxy" and so on and so forth, you get it

also i decided to price the phone charms by how complex they are, so the simple ones are $25 and the "luxe" ones with the extra dangly bits are $30. and then i realized that the main galaxy tea charms are all luxe but i made a different series of rainbow charms waaaayyy back when that are the same colorways essentially but they aren't as complex, so i decided to include them as part of the galaxy tea collection and give each colorway the same name, but instead of ending in "galaxy" they end in "comet"

you know, cuz they're smaller

this delights me immensely

tonight's project was making some beaded bracelets, and of course once i completed the first one i *had* to do the whole rainbow lol
