Witch Tip: do an annual purge of your supplies.
That pretty crystal ball your bought but never used or that fancy candle you have been “hanging onto” for a future spell - either use it or get rid of it. A lot of things like this just take up space and collect dust. Consider donating anything in good condition you don’t want anymore.
Dried herbs only keep for a year or two in good conditions. Chances are your herb stores need some refreshing.
Old spell jars, potions and powders not only lose potency, but just go bad eventually. Take this as a chance to finalize anything that needs completing and to discard old spell remnants.
Even if your supplies are in good condition, consider reducing the quantity you keep. You don’t need pounds of dried herbs. You don’t need 5 different clear quartz points.
Just like cleaning out your closet, a purge gives you a chance to go through all the old stuff you forgot about and make use of them! This is a great opportunity to do some spell craft.
Sincerely,
A very chaotic, cluttered and scatterbrained witch
