42. What food reminds you of home?

so whenever I go home my mom makes me this cured sausage and potato soup with tarragon and lemon. it’s the perfect thing after a long flight, sour and salty and not even a little vegetarian. she never made it before i moved away (she barely cooked then) but somehow it still reminds me of home, every time i smell it walking into the house i get this super strong feeling like i’m going to get into an argument with my brother about who loaded the dishwasher last

hot. @fiddleabout says i am basically a portable heater. i have only ever actually been egregiously cold twice in my life and i still remember the intense shock that this could happen to me
