lil bit of Manga practice
I would like to show some of my art director work here (context:I am a middle school teacher, not a real art director, but I am ✨creative✨ and also ADHD so my current interests get imbued into my teaching. This is for the ttrpg I am creating set in the Great Depression)
I am absolutely in love with all the little details throughout
About to do session 0 with my bastard historical fiction ttrpg… it called Withering Roads, is set in the Great Depression, and currently has 3 half-written quests. My scene design is partially done but so fuckin cool. I built a speakeasy out of LEGO and have conglomerated dollhouse things for a Hooverville and soup kitchen. I have more thing coming tomorrow to make it even better. I have so many little trinkets for my players.
Did I mention that my players are 12-13? And that I’m doing this so that they can learn creative writing through collaborative storytelling (and by extension then become better analytical writers) ? Because that’s what is happening and I am both thrilled and terrified because this is new.
