"That there exists in the human minds and indeed by natural instinct, some sense of Deity, we hold to be beyond dispute, since God himself, to prevent any man from pretending ignorance, has endued all men with some idea of his Godhead, the memory of which he constantly renews and occasionally enlarges . . ."

Up the Chain: There’s no passing the buck...
O’, Christian brothers and sisters, have faith (pistis) that God is working through BNSF for His glory and those who oppose His teachings to ‘take care of people (Mk. 12:30-31),’ ‘honor contracts (Lev. 19:35-36; Deu. 25:13-16; Hos. 12:7-8; Mic. 6:10-14; Pro. 20:10),’ and ’do not seek illicit gain (Exo. 20:17; Tit. 1:10-11),’ are without excuse. They will be judged because ‘His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood.’
But let us not forget the log in our own eye (Mat. 7:3-5). Instinctively, we know right from wrong because ‘His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood.’ So the question becomes, 'you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who forbid adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the Law, do you dishonor God by breaking the Law? (Rm. 2:21-23).’
Are we living our lives on the railroad in honor or dishonor to God’s divine nature? Have we succumbed to dishonesty in order to climb the corporate ladder? Is substance abuse an issue in order to cope with work demands? If so, STOP!
Have faith that God is working for His glory (Joh. 5:17). Be assured; His invisible qualities make it known to all that life is not void of design, meaning or intrinsic value. We need not succumb to ‘filthy lucre’ or the ‘fleshly distractions’ of this world while working on or for the rails.

Anyone who has personally studied the heavens must lend a sympathetic ear to these men of antiquity who gazed up into the night sky, as yet undimmed by pollution and the glare of city lights, and watched the slow but irresistible turn of the cosmos, replete with its planets, stars, and familiar constellations, across their view and wondered, what is the cause of all this? Aristotle concluded that the cause was divine intelligence. He imagined the impact that the sight of the world would have on a race of men who had lived underground and never beheld the sky: When thus they would suddenly gain sight of the earth, seas, and the sky; when they should come to know the grandeur of the clouds and the might of the winds;
