It is in fact normal to want to keep some amnesia barriers in place. Obviously, a good path to healing is breaking down those walls, but that requires a therapeutic approach and a safe environment. If an alter doesn't remember a traumatic event, it is for a reason. You don't have to apologize for wanting to keep specific information away from specific alters, especially when you're not in a position to get professional help.

I've been on a supervised diet for eleven days now, where I am not allowed to eat fruit & chips & chocolate & pasta or bread. And this far I have persevered and not once have I cheated, I feel so incredibly proud of myself. I never thought I could make it this far!
