bruce “king of prep time” wa.yne only works BECAUSE HE’S FOUGHT with nearly all of his rogues in the past and knows their weakness. IT RARELY EVER WORKS with any of his new villains. AND ITS A CONSISTENT TROPE throughout every arc that HE HAS TO FALL DOWN, HE HAS TO FAIL, before he comes back up again. BECAUSE THERE’S NO AMOUNT OF PREPARATION on his part could help him anticipate every single thing. Even his complete paranoia for worst case scenarios can’t predict everything.
