soompitv translated joon’s response at end of ep. 5 of as “That’s how I feel,” on why he agreed to take on hee tae’s commision. viki translated it as “My heart wants to.” it’s not a huge thing, the meaning conveyed is nearly the same, but it’s important. viki’s translation allows for it to be interpreted as joon telling hee tae he is emotionally involved to his project, aka wife. it’s very subtle.
the only reason i sought the second translation was because i was sure soo hyuk said something about heart and i wanted validation. i am learning a thing or two from kdramas.
