[In 2000, Marvel Comics asked Alex Ross to redesign the X-Men uniforms, for whatever reason, Marvel had decided not to go with Ross’ designs and ultimately Frank Quitely & Grant Morrison got to redesign the team for Morrison’ New X-Men. In 2001, however, Wizard Magazine published this "X-Men Spectacular" special and included the Ross’ designs]
