I've had the song Lucid Dreamscape, by VocaloKat stuck in my head for the past like week and the more I listen to it, the more it reminds me of Anis, especially in the vol.3 arc

Like the verses all have this kind of sinking spiraling feeling, also some specific lines that hit the same vibe as her character and vol.3 arc for me are:

"losing track of score, refusing the support" - her growing distant from herself, while pretending to everyone around her she's fine, and actively refusing any help they try to offer her

"knowing my heart's one degree from freezing over" - the entire time she's right on the edge, letting go of all passion she has, pretending she's okay, while deep down knowing she cant take this for long before she loses herself entirely

"Fighting for some peace while wondering "Is this really me? Could this really be reality?"" - this line reminds me alot of what she reveals around her beliefs and mental state during the confession/bedroom scene, where she states that she views herself as someone who "stole" the real Anisphia away from her parents, a "fake"

"No more longing for redeeming, never gonna find a meaning Halfway to the guillotine and ready to scream Right when I'm gonna leap, you reach out to me" - and this is when the feels hit hard ToT like, this hits so hard thinking about how Anis was fully prepared to give up everything she cared about to fulfil the wishes of those around her, walking down the path to a metaphorical chopping block and then Euphie basically saved her by forcing her to come to terms with what she really wants and becoming queen herself

And ofc, the chorus also would be like pure anieuphie fluff, like "we could be shining brighter than the stars, so could you hold me tighter, leave me scarred" AHSKAJDJAJS

Anyways, this is me just blabbing cuz i love vocaloid and i love anis x euphie and i love magirevo, and man i just need some place to ramble about them TwT, also go listen to the song its peak
