Fouling in the MLH takes a steep decline the first year Shane & Ilya play together on the Centaurs, and they’re a bit confused why all their regular season games have been relatively un-physical. Then in one game against Toronto, some idiot (probably Dallas Kent) crosschecks Luca, and the Centaurs activate the Hollanov Power Play Special they’ve been training for all season and Toronto is swiftly, instantly, and absolutely fucked. Suddenly it becomes very clear why every team in the league is on their best behavior against Ottawa: because against Shane and Ilya’s power play, a foul will almost always cost you a fucking goal. That’s how insane their power play percentage is, and all the other teams can do is never give them a reason to be on the ice together. (Personally, the other Centaurs love this and go out of their way to draw fouls, just to see the immediate horror on the other team’s faces)

I feel like Ilya would definitely get some “ball and chain” type of comments regarding Shane and at one point he ends up in a group of guys who start ragging on him when he's thinking about heading out early, calling him whipped, joking about Shane having him on a tight leash, and Ilya ends up just saying, genuinely confused, “do you guys not like your wives?” There’s complete silence for a second before Ilya continues, “maybe you should give them the chance to find someone who actually enjoys spending time with them." And then he goes home to his husband, who also happens to be his favourite person in the world.

That joke about Dick's type being redheads but it's dickjay

Jason being a natural redhead but Bruce forcing him to dye it black because that's what color Dick's hair is and he has to match Dick so he dyes it. Sure no big deal.

Later when Dick finds out about Jason and he's furious, he doesn't realize Jason has red hair because Jason is freshly dyed, so it takes him a few months to find out. Jason's roots are starting to show, just a bit of orange poking out amongst the deep black, and it catches on some streetlights as Dick and Jason walk home from the store after a late night ice cream trip. Dick realizes then and there holy shit bruce is forcing him to dye his hair

After his initial fit over it (he confronts bruce and they argue of course), he tucks the info away in his mind and over the next couple of months his brain keeps bringing it back up. He cant stop thinking about it even though he doesnt understand why. He assumes it's because he's curious. What does Jason look like with a full head of red hair? All those red bouncey curls framing his freckled face and squishy cheeks. And then he cant get the image out of his mind. And he's going insane about it. But then Jason dies and he can't even look into his obsession further, but he does keep dating redheads...

Steve doesn't sign the note, of course. He secretly slips it into Hargrove's locker, his cheeks and ears are burning, and he wishes he'd never actually written anything. He later tries to break into the locker to retrieve the note but alas .. it's not there anymore.
