JUST IN: Judge orders DNA testing of West Memphis 3 evidence

I was talking about the West Memphis Three and was caught off-guard by the fact that I couldn't remember Michael Moore's name.

Come on, y’all. The necklace was only tested for blood type! BLOOD! TYPE! It could have been Stevie Branch’s blood or Jason Baldwin’s blood. It’s not a both situation here. They had the same BLOOD TYPE!

And forgive me for not believing the prosecutions theory about that necklace. If I’m not mistaken it was Fogelman’s son that discovered these tiny blood spots. Why in the hell was his son handling the evidence in the first place? And why in the hell did the lab not see this before? So much incompetence or outright corruption. Ugh.

Also, for everyone screaming about Damien not wanting to test that necklace? The whole sample was used up in 94. There’s nothing to test now, ffs. Damien and Jason shared that necklace. I don’t even think it was on Damien when he was arrested. I think it was Jason. The reports on their belongings were a mess when they were arrested. And both were wearing necklaces at the time.

All this to say, letitgooooo. I didn’t include this in my last post because it was not presented to the jury. Nor were Damien’s mental health records. So it was not used as evidence against them. It doesn’t help your case of guilt.

Absolutely despicable and horrific. The unrelenting waves of trauma that are felt by so many souls just hit deeper and deeper every time justice is denied.

Fuck the state of Arkansas, disrespectfully.

just saying, i only now found out eddie munson was based on the wm3 and in particular damien echols. watching two of my absolute biggest special interests mesh together like that is divine. absolutely divine, especially when im thoroughly attracted to both men.

The West Memphis Three, three teenagers wrongfully convicted of murder in 1993. They were released in 2011.

Just a quick reminder that Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley are still wrongfully convicted murders of three eight year old boys, Stevie Branch, Michael Moore, and Christopher Byers. 

Unfortunately, the West Memphis PD do not want any new evidence in the case, which could exonerate the three, but claim that it was ‘destroyed in a fire’.

What is so sad is that the three men haven’t got justice. Even more disheartening, the three little boys haven’t either, and more than likely never will.
