Has anybody else noticed that ACast is just being actively manipulative and straight up telling podcast listeners how easy it is to manipulate them in the vain hope that one podcaster will hear the ad. Like Istg I'm getting ads before Malevolent now that says shit like "A normal ad doesn't get clicked, but when they hear it from someone they trust (implied to be whoever runs the podcast, though Harlan notably does not do this) they'll accept your ads!" Like gang is that not fucked up.

I don't remember what I have said on here so I'll just list some favorites.

Abby has grown up on a normal age cycle, and grew up with Steve whereas Cecil did not grow up on a normal age cycle. I think he was a teenager for a really. really. really. long time.

Carlos has been in Night Vale for 10 years, but to the outside world it has just been 1.

Time only started moving forward in night vale because its narrator, Cecil, finally developed a life outside of the radio station

(this is an opinion really but still) Huntokar is truly the worst (and by that I meant best) villain the show has seen and should not have been given the Loki treatment. I don't think we have seen the last of her yet quite honestly. In fact. this new arc could involve her which I'm hoping for.

And ofc that Carlos was a marine biologist which turned out to be fucking TRUE
