I’ve been considering for a few years now, making myself a wolf suit to wear that I would be able to walk on all 4s on but also stand up normally… just unsure how to execute that?
I’ve seen these costumes people have made and I’m thinking about taking some inspiration from these as well as of course what my actual form is supposed to look like. I’ve also found a animatronic mask kit that has blinking eyes and moving ears/jaw, but sadly it’s out of stock and it’s pretty expensive as well.
I’m just thinking, it will of course have to have the shape of the body and legs/arms in a way where it will still look like a wolf’s body both on all fours and standing up. The difficult part will be making it so that it is accurate enough. I have a few years of experience when it comes to mask making and sewing, so I could probably make the body myself. I’m just not sure yet if I want to commission the head from someone or make all of it myself. I will likely get the head before I get anything else, but that’s fine. If I made it myself I would like to buy the animatronic mask kit when it comes back in stock (though sadly the website says it needs to be redesigned and so won’t be for purchase again until that happens, which who knows how long that could take…). If I had to do something like use EVA foam and make it that way myself instead, I guess it would be fine it just won’t turn out the way I want it as much. But we will see.
On another note, I realized I have enough faux fur and other material to make some ears if I wanted. I’m just not very good at making them so.. I might end up buying some instead.
