Psyduck crochet doll designed for my kids around 2009. The pattern is on my blog here: >> Psyduck free crochet Pattern <<
My mom!
She’s a crochet artist. She makes dolls (Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, etc), and clothes and cool accessories. She also knits, spins, dyes and weaves!
She likes Dragon Age, all of the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout 4, The Witcher, and games like that!
You can click the link above to check out her blog filled with her patterns if you’d like! They’re super cute and FREE! If you know someone who crochets, send them over!
Jolteon, I choose you!
This was a commission for a friend; it’s his favorite Pokemon (the Pokeball was a gift). Jolteon was made from Wolfdreamer’s awesome Umbreon pattern (she has a ton of Pokemon patterns, check them out!) and the Pokeball was her regular Pokeball pattern altered so it would open/close. I love it’s smug little grin:)
Geeky Crochet Patterns for Hookers
For those who love to crochet and Pokémon WolfDreamer is one of my favorites!
Crochet Squirtle: My Starter (Pokemon)....Kind of
So, Squirtle was my first crocheted amigurumi pokemon. A few months before the end of my sophomore year in high school I stumbled upon this great blog:
http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.com/
I had crocheted simple things before--cupcakes, scarves (with a Rockets logo for my friend's birthday--I was super proud since I didn't use a pattern), and simple things. I decided that this Squirtle would be my first big project. It was my first real amigurumi. I mean "real" in the sense that before, when I was crocheting, I did not know that I was making amigurumi. It was pretty ridiculous. So I told myself that this would be my summer project. And lo and behold, I made this Squirtle from Wolfdreamer's blog. I made a bit of a mistake and bought yarns of differing widths though, so I used a touch-and-go method while crocheting, modifying the pattern to fit my needs.
I liked the look of a rounder, more ball-shaped tail and adjusted accordingly. I also added the shell detailing on the back. I added the red accents on the eyes and after I crocheted the head, I added a row on the face to create a mouth that stuck out more.
In the end, I am quite pleased with the product. (Excuse my poor photography) Wolfdreamer's fantastic pattern can be found here:

I've used quite a few of her patterns and they are easily understood and the products are terrific. I thought that this would be the end of my crocheting stint this summer. Turns out, I went ami-crazy. I had to keep going back to the yarn store to buy the right colors for my next projects. Crocheting is such a wonderful way to spend your time (and procrastinate) because you are creating something. More to come.....Thanks for letting me ramble!

I'm just gonna say this now... This is one of the 2 things that got me into crocheting my own things... Which is why i'm posting a couple things i made from this blog.
