The apocalypse has been going since they were kids.
The Black family started a settlement using one of their old family homes, knowing that the large property perfect for keeping people safe. They wanted to clear their name, and what better than using their property to keep people safe.
The Potter family accidentally started a settlement. They ran to a small cottage they had kept in the family for generations. They never meant for people to find them, but the poor souls who wandered into the settlement were scooped up and kept safe by Effie, with no reason other than trying to help
In which the Black family started the apocalypse, and the rest of the world come to terms with the changes.
