Halsey’s Women’s March speech
In celebration of the #womensmarch I want to celebrate ALL my sisters and daughters! 🏳️🌈 And I want to remind you there is NOT just one way to be a woman! If you erase one woman’s identity you attack all women’s identities! You are powerful 💪🏼 You are brave 👊🏾 You are beautiful 💋 And I am so proud of you! Love, Mom 💕 #terfsaretraitors #terfsarenotradicalfeminists #transwoc #transwomen #transgirlsrock #transpride #transisbeautiful #thisiswhattranslookslike #girlslikeus #terfssuck #terfsnotwelcomehere #lgbtqpride #lovemomproud #ImSoProudOfYou #powerfultranswoman #transgirl #nonbinary #genderqueer #gendernonconforming #womensmarch
#QOD I know exactly what I want and that's exactly what I'll get. -Baje Fletcher. Those things you want or want to make happen? Write them down, create a #goalboard , knock on doors & knock out windows & make it happen! #iknowmyworth #knowyourworth #aWomansWorth #value #valuable #priceless #focus #determination #NEVERGIVEUP #neversettle #feminist #femaleempowerment #empowerment #womansmovement #WomensRights #womansEquality #goodmorning
I...am gonna regret...posting this
In the past 3 hours I have personally read 40 feminist websites, blogs, and other social media outlets. Some radical and some not. I did this out of sheer boredom but after a while a sense of curiosity came along with it. Some of their opinions and points were very valid. They were strong and some of them were actually very well thought out and borderline genius. But there were a lot that… Absolutely terrified me. Talking about men destroying the freedom of women just by opening the door for them or something like that. As a person who respects and fears women. I must say that some of these people are horrible examples of the struggle for equality. They really did show that there are some people who don’t… exactly understand the concept of equality and how its not a word you use for special treatment for you (insert that one Enigo Montoya quote here). But I can say that all of the excellent ones reminded me how powerful and amazing women are; and why I fear them. You go good feminists. Keep doing you.
