Here’s a snippet from one of my current (fully self-indulgent 😌) WIPs, as well as a matching moodboard! It’s a pretty simple comfort fic tbh, but I needed something short and sweet to get me back into writing.

I vaugely remembered that Dawn and Hank were using horses to help out that kid (Ellis) at some point during Season 2. So, after headcanoning (*cough* projecting) that Donna 100% knows how to ride, this fic was born! It’ll probably be a one or two chapters, but who knows-

The love-triangle we would have deserved:

“Be gay, fight crime.“

“Sushi date and a show.”

Pros:

not yet another uninspired “girl stuck between two straight men, whoever may she choose?! :O”

seriously it’s always the ever-same boring take on love-triangles; at least this would bring a refreshing new flavor to an overused trope

would bring some much needed LGBT rep into this very straight show (one scene of the main villain sitting in a car with her wife and them not even talking to each other does not constitute good rep). This has the potential of lesbian!Donna, bi!Dawn and pan!Kory giving us even a variety of representation, positive rep and not “Evil Villain Lady Gay” overused villainization trope of gays, and main character rep

more on-screen chemistry between either duo than probably anyone else had on this entire show??

Donna Troy deserved to be a canon gay icon

AND THEY WOULD STILL ALL THREE BE FRIENDS. No toxic jealousy that breaks the team apart, they could pine and flirt without aggressions
