Today has been the first day in this past week I have been able to put my UV resin runes out on the patio to cure in the sunlight. I went to put a tray out this afternoon and ran into this adorable group of baby armadillos that Mom and Dad armadillo decided to let me babysit for a bit (from a safe distance of course.)
Armadillos may be a pest or a nuisance to some, but they definitely have some cuteness to them when they're that small. Like large armored rats.
Friends of mine when I lived back at my parent's house would call me 'Snow White' as my backyard was always full of woodland creatures. The backyard at my rental home seems to be no different, and the critters there have no problem with me being around them, in fact, they rarely run away. Granted, these armadillos have awful eyesight, especially during the day.
Stripe has no excuse, though. Named such because of the distinctive red stripes on her forehead. As a baby, this little rabbit scared the living crap out of me one day when I was standing on the patio talking on the phone and she darted around my legs. I froze, expecting to see some kind of large mutant furry spider by my feet and instead was greeted by the tiniest baby bunny with little red stripes on its head.
I may have lost my baby Shadow to cancer a few weeks ago, but my outdoor family seems to be alive and well.
Also, the shop is open again (yay!) And I'm currently accepting limited custom orders and have updated listings with new items such as this beautiful handmade Selenite in resin Athame I have been playing around with creating for a while. This experiment was passed onto a lucky person's mystery box recently. :)

Of course, I'm posting at my parent's house and look up to see this in front of me. Just driving that home.
