Not to contribute to the aging user base allegations, but I just successfully formatted a linked table of contents in a word document for work and well. It was truly one of the better feelings out there.

Fanfic Writers, this question is for you. What word document program are we using nowadays? I ask this because I still use Microsoft Word. In my personal opinion it is not as good as it used to be. I would like to try something different. I have tried Google Drive but I did not care for it. I would love to hear about other possibilities. I would like something that I do not have to save my work to OneDrive or anything like that. I prefer to save my work on a flash drive/ thumb drive. I am rather old school lol.
