Majority of criticisms people have towards Shinoa is really blatantly due to misogynistic writing and not a very accurate reflection of her at all. I feel like it's not that hard to understand her as a character once you remove all the fanservice shit and kagami's insufferable inability to write a female character's narrative that doesn't revolve around a man.
