so, i haven't watched the show super carefully so I may have missed something, but do you have any head-canons re: Will being hospitalized for tuberculosis (referenced S1.E6)?

In conjunction with the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 80s, there was a big resurgence of tuberculosis in New York City, around the time Will was a prosecutor in the Brooklyn DA’s office. I generally assumed that he, like many, failed a TB test at the doctor’s and was hospitalized as a precaution -- the exact same thing happened to my oldest sister in 1986. I headcanon this because even 20-30 years later there would have been physical repercussions had he actually had the disease. And he definitely wouldn’t be a smoker. 

(Though odds are Sorkin included the line as a throwaway and then promptly forgot about it, like pretty much everything in re: Mac’s pre-series life.)

I had an advising appointment at school really early this morning to talk about medical school (I decided to apply to Harvard yay!) then I went and volunteered at a therapeutic riding center where we do horseback riding therapy for kids with autism. It was a good day :)

Does rolling around in bed count watching netflix as physical activity? Hm, I would say yes. Recently I’ve gone back to doing Taekwondo forms in my apartment living room. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of space, I’m really out of shape, and I don’t really remember the forms very well so I actually haven’t done a lot of it… 

I also foam roll A LOT. (Is that physical activity?...)

I’m pretty antisocial, so it really depends on who I’m with. Unless I’m pretty comfortable with you, I tend to observe more than actually participate.
