Day 101

Today for the first time in absolutely ages I had a gardening day at work with Tracy. It kept threatening rain but only drizzled for a bit here and there but nothing to stop us working.

I was filthy when I got home. Quick pop to the shop, cooked dinner and had a shower then off to Alex's for a drink in her garden with Sheridan too. It was really lovely to get out and see them and do something different.

Monday 29th June 2020

Day 98

A day off today once I had done a little bit of work. I finished the willow hurdles that I started on Saturday. They look marvellous!! I tidied up the willows and the pallets at the back of the garden a bit. 

I did some weeding for Jessie this afternoon and organised a tesco delivery for her and for Phyl too. 

I made a nice pasta bake tonight and started watching Breaking Bad. It’s brilliant. I don’t know why I haven’t started it sooner.

Tonight I painted...YES!! I worked on the bathroom cabinet but I am not sure with how it has turned out. I might need a rethink.

Saturday 16th May 2020

Day 54

I had fabulously productive day today!!

I began sorting the small shed a bit, making room for some of the old toys that had been sitting in the laundry room for so long. I gathered a large pile of stuff that needs sorting out, putting away and hopefully getting rid of. 

Some of the bits from the small shed got put in the big shed where while tidying it up a bit to make space....I FOUND SPARE WOODED SHELVING THAT I CAN USE IN THE GREENHOUSE! Yipee!! 

I built the shelving by myself which was not easy as they wobbled all over the place without an extra pair of hands but I did it and all three shelves fitted so perfectly.

Tea was a yummy pitta bread and lamb steak and salad thing. 

After tea and quite late as it stays light till about 9 now I wheelbarrowed one of the compost bins of compost from the front of the house to the compost store in the back garden.

I put fairy lights in the greenhouse. 😍
