I did a thing, hooray! Forgot that I could track such things with my Garmin until I was done with the bench press, oh well! Battery's low anyhow. Decided to start with squats and feel my way up to my most recent top weight, stopping if it didn't feel right to go heavier. Set of 45. 75. 95. Heck, let's go for it. So kept all my top weights and the sets down to 1. Since I was limiting myself to a single set of dips, I figured I should power through a few more. Just barely got that third one.
I had to figure out where in the list of things I want to do today this belonged, and so far I've got:
Get out my old music gear that I'd like to sell.
Fold my (regular) laundry.
Put away the gym clothes I threw on my bench last week
I've stopped sweating, so I guess I know what's next!
In semi-unrelated news, the wife wants to get the kids more into sports/extra-curriculars. They're currently doing tennis which they now hate. Wife wanted baseball, kids said "no way". Fine, we'll go back to taekwondo as a family. Me with my injury, my wife with hers - we'll both have to heavily modify whatever workouts they give us. I won't do jumping jacks, for example. Too much on the ball of my foot.
Tentatively scheduled for next Saturday. One session, just to see how our injuries fare.
