Entering my academia era 🍎👩🏽‍🏫

I’ve gone through many phases of music from being a student, a private instructor and an audience member for my talented friends. I proudly wear these hats and for the first time, I get to show off all my decades of hobbyist research in a formal MUSIC CLASS. 😄

My music education course is called Music From Around the World. Takes places Monday evenings from June 29- August 10th (with possible bonus class!) This is a free university class meaning you can drop in when you want but I do encourage people to fully participate to help expand your mind, try new things. 🌎

Constantly discovering GLOBAL music is necessary for me to honor my identity. We’ll address the cultural aspects of the biggest artists/genres down to the new and local. I will be covering French Pop, Australian Heavy Metal, Caribbean Dancehall, and more. Yuna, Mitski, Laura Mulva, TitoM, Louis Fonzi, Marc Anthony, AND MORE.

Let’s travel the world together, one note at a time. 🎶

The Becker School

Summary:

Located on the edge of the Suren Wires compound, the Becker School teaches preK to 12th grade. The Becker School has 255-330 students during the standard session, and 50-70 during the secondary session.
