Caught in the Act

Syllk cubs are notorious troublemakers, but this only becomes apparent to the world once they figure out how to walk. Hammy here snuck out of her den, snaked her way through the syllk-only tunnels, and found an innocent trashcan to terrorize. The trashcan produced a delectable tomato, but Hammy's feast was cut short by some concerned Arabeleans who stumbled upon her while throwing out their trash. Hammy was ready to lay down her life for her lovely tomato.

In the end she was safely apprehended and returned to her mother den. It's unknown if she managed to finish the tomato or not.

I spent a bunch of time creating a caste system and military for a particular kingdom before realizing it didn't fit, so I took those and fused them with a separate underdeveloped idea to make something new!

Worldbuilding Question

Inspired by a recent trip and a discussion with @cirianne, I posit a question to you writeblr:

If the setting of your WIP had a museum, what would be in it?

Would it detail the local history, showing the changing landscapes? Would it showcase an individual, an event, such as the events your characters live through? Are there artefacts? Testimonials? Interactive events? Any particular highlights that leaves its visitors stunned?

To clarify, this could mean a museum about the events of your WIP many years after it happens, or it can simply be a museum that has details about the setting.

Happy Father’s Day!

The SimDonian Royal Family wishes everyone a happy Father’s Day! To celebrate the occasion, they’ve shared some never before seen photos of Royal Family members with their fathers.

Willington Palace shared a photo from HM King Spencer’s wedding day. The photo includes a teenage HRH Duchess of Sage in her bridesmaid gown, the the Late HM King Parker, and King Spencer when he was the Crown Prince. A touching photo to commemorate a great King and Father!

Cavalwood Manor once again shares a few photos to honor fathers. The first being a great picture of The Grand Duke of Umbrage with his father, the late Duke Fredrico, and his grandfather, the late King William lll. This photo was taken well after HM King William lll abdicated to show the generations of Winston men back when Emmitt was a teen. 

Cavalwood Manor also shared a photo of The Grand Duchess of Umbrage with her late father, Harry Wu from when she was a teen living in San Myshuno. We know that Bria had a very close connection with her father as you can tell from this picture.

Lastly, touching photos of the Grand Duke of Umbrage were shared of him with his children. The first photo shows the Grand Duke and his stepchildren, Grayson and Gianni Wu-Ravikumar playing basketball at Cavalwood Manor. The second shows the Grand Duke playing dragons with HRH Duchess Ella of Umbrage. The fourth image is an unseen shot with HRH Grand Duchess of Umbrage from their pregnancy announcement which shows the Grand Duke cradling his second child. Finally, an adorable photo of all HRH children together is shared.
